Sharing some good news!

We ask that those who support this initiative takes one minute to send an email the

CEO of Caesars and MGM re: Paid parking. Thank you.

We wanted to update you on one of our recent efforts.

On February 15, 2019, the club sent an email from the Club to Matthew Maddox, CEO of Wynn Resorts, along with a video excerpt of our Jan. 31 meeting where we discussed the Wynn’s absurd policy of charging locals (and those driving to Las Vegas) exorbitant parking fees.

To refresh your memory, here is the video:

We sent the same email to James Murren, CEO of MGM Resorts, and to Mark Frissora, CEO of Caesars Entertainment.

In the email we remarked:

“When a local drops $500 on dinner and a show, or on table games in your casino, it’s ludicrous for them to have to pay more for parking when they leave. Your official P.R. stance – that other cities across the U.S. charge for parking – is a poor excuse. Las Vegas isn’t just like any other city. We’re setting the standard and the pace for the global gaming marketplace, and our actions toward all of our customers should reflect that.”

We urged Mr. Maddox to reconsider their parking policy.

To our pleasure, on April 29, it was all over the news… As of May 1, 2019, Wynn Las Vegas is reversing their parking fee policy; patrons will again be able to self park for free at the Wynn and the Encore.

Our letter, in part, we believe contributed toward the Wynn’s decision. Being proactive and voicing concerns directly and publicly about unacceptable business practices definitely works! With so many people lately avoiding the Strip due to hefty parking fees and resort fees, it’s no wonder that MGM is laying off 1,000 employees this week as guests look to other resorts that do not charge these fees! There’s a lot of change going on in the industry now and we urge all LOCALS to voice their concerns and continue to put pressure on MGM and Caesars regarding their parking policy.

Actions This Week That Will Help

With this news, the Club has a great opportunity to take our cause and our video viral helping to work towards more positive change.   Vegas is a unique culture and NOT PAYING FOR PARKING was one unique attraction to living here! We ask that you simply go to our YouTube page (see above) and share the video on social media, and/or send the link via email to your friends and family.

In addition, we ask you to take time this week to email the Wynn and let them know we applaud their decision…. and at the same time, keep the pressure on the CEOs of MGM and Caesars to follow suit.

Their emails are as follows:

CEO Matthew Maddox, Wynn Resorts – investorrelations@wynnresorts.com

CEO James Murren, MGM Resorts – IR@mgmresorts.com

CEO Mark Frissora, Caesars Entertainment – Investor_Inquiries@caesars.co

Thank you,

The Investment Club of America Team

P.S. Please note within one hour of sending our video to CEO of MGM and CEO of Caesars the video got 2 thumbs down.  LOL!!
