Bio

David Damore is Department Chair and a Professor of Political Science at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
His research focuses on electoral politics and applied public policy. 
In addition to his position at UNLV, Dr. Damore is a Nonresident Senior Fellow in the Brookings Institution’s Governance Study Program and a Senior Analyst at Latino Decisions.  Dr. Damore regularly comments on Nevada politics for local, national, and international media outlets.
Dr. Damore earned his Ph.D. from the University of California, Davis (2000), his M.A. from the University of Georgia (1995), and his B.A. from the University of California, San Diego (1992), all in Political Science.
